For our wedding my mom made traditional home made Polish vodka called cytryniak. Its a mixture of pure alcohol, water, lemon juice and sugar. Normally in the Polish tradition its put on tables and drank as a shot for special occasions and holidays. After our wedding we realized the vodka is great by itself on the rocks. So for our one year anniversary we wanted to recreated our beloved drink while celebrating with family.

  It's that time of year again, the long awaited Semi-Annual Two Star Rodeo Challenge in Sisseton, South Dakota! We couldn't be more excited! Watch out everyone we are coming for the first place trophy! The weekend will be filled with cousin challenges starting off with some skeet shooting, ax throwing, ATV racing, pie baking, slider making and red beer drinking. Let the festivities begin!    Here is another thing I can add to my "never thought I would experience this" list... a three on three basketball tournament in Sendai! The dj was spinning, the lights were flickering and in the midst of it all there was a tournament going on. Very cool experience!   The guys cheering on their teammates. 
 Second place winners received supplements from the main sponsor, Haleo.  Sendai 3-D team won! Take holding up the trophy.  All the participants.  Happy Thanksgiving from Sendai!  The team's main sponsor, Haleo let us come over to celebrate an American Thanksgiving at their headquarters. We thought it would be a simple pot luck but it was anything but simple, it completely exceeded our expectations! There was lots of food, drinks, a splendid atmosphere and great people to celebrate with. There were even two turkeys shipped from Tokyo!         Thank you to everyone that made this day possible! We really appreciate it and couldn't ask for a better Thanksgiving abroad! Career Transition for Dancers - Chicago. A wonderful free workshop for dancers that helps with the transition process. Its amazing how much you can learn from attending such workshops, eventhough I was never a dancer, I could clearly see the connection between my husband's professional basketball career and the transition that these dancers are making. Some day we will have to make a transition as well.... I was honored to be a part of such a wonderful event.                                                    *** I realize there are A LOT of photos in this post. I had a bit of a hard time narrowing them down because I was shooting both of the sessions. (Close to 6 hours of shooting was around 1500 photos, at the end I was down to about 380! haha) I wanted everyone to experience this great event with the speakers and dancers that made it so much fun. *** Kethany Rehearsal Dinner at Vic's in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Congrats to my brother-in-law and my new sister-in-law!
