The Nara Big Buddha.

The Big Buddha was a truly a breath taking spot!  I wish we had more time to explore the temple and all the different statues that were located inside, unfortunately we were on a time crunch with our day Kyoto-Nara tour.  The world-famous Nara Daibutsu (Big Buddha of Nara) was completed in 752 AD.  The statute is 15 meters high, that's 49 feet high!
