365 - Day 122

Playing with fire. Elk Grove Village, Illinois.


My boss recently had an interesting shoot where he was capturing Hubbard Street 2 dancers with a purple light. (The dance company is putting on a performance of Harold and the Purple Crayon.) I decided to play around a little bit tonight and see what I could capture with a camera, tripod and a lighter. It was a nice try but I can't wait to try this out in the studio with some professional lighting. If you want to see more light photography please check out Pablo Picasso and his light painting.
