Heather + Jeff
Milwaukee Engagement Photography // Third Ward // Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Heather and Jeff were so wonderful to hang out with and I feel truly blessed to have gotten to know them better during their Third Ward engagement session. These two share an amazing connection and such a romantic engagement story!
In April, they jetted off to Mexico for a little getaway where Jeff proposed. They went on an afternoon walk overlooking the beach at Playa del Carmen when all of a sudden, Jeff asked two strangers to take a photo of them. He quickly told the strangers that he was going to propose and to take as many photos as they could! Eeek! Talk about pressure!
Heather and Jeff smiled for the photo, then Heather started walking toward the friendly stranger to grab their phone but was confused why Jeff didn't follow. She turned around to find Jeff on one knee!
I wish I could share that priceless photo with you because Heather's facial expression said it all. The excitement, the amazement and awe were all perfectly combined into one photo. While we couldn't recreate the beauty of the Mexican scenery in Milwaukee, I sure could capture the beautiful love that Heather and Jeff share for each other.
I am honored to photograph their upcoming Milwaukee wedding in T-minus two months!! Yay!
The weekend has come to an end but man, was it fun!
Since I had a light weekend work-wise, Eva and I went to Chicago to spend some quality time with my parents. It was fun, relaxing and we got to enjoy the last remaining long summer days at the farm.
Eva chased chickens, gawked at the piggies, collected "micks" (rocks) and sticks and more importantly ran away from me. Anytime I took my camera out to take a photo of her, she would turn the other direction and run. This child of ours!
I swear all of her childhood photos will be with her back to us, running away into the distance. Ha!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Happy Monday!
