Tamara + Jon Black Swan Wedding // Milwaukee, Wisconsin
What a joy it was to photograph such an enjoyable couple! Tamara and Jon were full of jokes and laughter throughout their entire, seemingly perfect, wedding celebration. Tamara and her delightful bridesmaids got ready at one of Milwaukee’s newest hotels, the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel – a modern hotel in the heart of the historic Third Ward, a place chockfull of charm, comfort, and laid-back warmth, which perfectly suits Tamara and Jon’s fun, tender spirits. Although their day was overflowing with laughter and jokes, there were several touching moments, especially when Tamara’s mom, Lori, teared up as she helped her daughter into her lovely lace wedding gown.
Tamara chose stunning hues for her flowers and bridesmaid dresses – deep maroons, soft pinks, and rose gold. Each bridesmaid had gorgeous, handmade bouquets with silk florals, which looked absolutely stunning against the rose gold dresses.
Tamara and Jon did their first look on the rooftop of the Kimpton, a moment filled with excitement, tears, and more laughs. The rain refused to stay away that day, so we headed back inside for bridal party portraits, followed by more pictures at the Black Swan.
The couple’s ceremony was held at the Black Swan, a chic venue also in the heart of the historic Third Ward. This particular venue features amazing Milwaukee cream city brick and industrial columns while inhibiting a true romantic feel. Black Swan overlooks the scenic Milwaukee River, a view that truly takes your breath away. When Tamara walked down the aisle, tears filled everyone’s eyes, including Jon’s. What a pleasure it was to photograph a couple who was not only loads of fun but incredibly kind, loving, and spirited, too.
Tamara and Jon, thank you for the opportunity to capture your beautiful wedding! I found myself laughing and enjoying the evening, right along with you and your guests, as I captured two people who truly know the meaning of love and laughter. Cheers to a lifetime of joy, health, and love.
Y. Family Milwaukee Family Session // Urban Ecology Center // Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Fall colors and the beautiful landscape of the Milwaukee Urban Ecology Center was our backdrop for the Y. family photo session. This fun loving family was so much fun to work with! The girls giggled, smiled and posed with their little baby brother. They threw fall leaves up in the air and twirled into the sunset! Thank you Y. Family for letting me capture your beautiful family!
Kelsey + John Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery // Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Photographing fellow alumni is always a pleasure, and I was honored to capture the heartwarming nuptials of Kelsey and John, a fun, laid back couple who met at the beloved Marquette University.
Kelsey and John got married on Marquette’s campus at the Gesu Church, a beautifully designed French-Gothic building with magnificent stained-glass windows and landmark spires of varying heights. The couple’s ceremony was not only filled with divine visual details but their night had amazing music performed by a choir from Minnesota. The Minnesota church choir members are friends of the bride’s mom, and they put on a magical performance during the ceremony as well as during the reception. Kelsey’s mom even sang with the choir during the reception speeches! Kelsey teared up during the touching, lovely performance.
After their ceremony, we took photos around the Marquette campus. The Joan of Arc chapel is still one of my favorite places to photograph wedding parties! This particular chapel is a 15th century French chapel, transported from France to Milwaukee.
Afterwards, we headed to the Pabst Brewery District for the couple’s wedding reception, as well as more bride and groom photos by the Brewhouse Inn, an upscale boutique set in the former Milwaukee Pabst Brewery. The Pabst Brewery District has been turned into one of the premier wedding locations in Milwaukee, celebrating the past, present, future, and, of course, the classic Milwaukee Pabst beer! Their reception took place at the historic Best Place at the Pabst and was filed with heartwarming speeches, laughter, and amazing dance moves!
Kelsey and John, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the opportunity to capture your wonderful celebration. Cheers to a lifetime of love and laughter together. Love + Appreciation, Dom

Andrea and Aubrey did their sunset session at River Bend Nature Center in Racine, Wisconsin. The beautiful park provided some amazing scenery and a perfect golden sunset. Eva even got in on the action, taking a few fun and goofy photos with her best friend. Enjoy!

B. Family Chicago Family Session // Prairie Center for the Arts // Schaumburg, Illinois
I love coming back to Chicago any chance I get, especially to photograph adorable families like the B. Family! We laughed, chased little Ms. Coco around the park and had a fun session in the Chicago suburbs. Thank you for choosing me to capture this fun time of your life!
Brittni + James The Seeboth Wedding // Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Brittni and James are two of the most kind, genuine people I had the pleasure of photographing. They were truly a joy, as was their special wedding day! The couple’s stunning wedding took place at The Seeboth, a dramatic, special event venue in the historic Walker’s Point neighborhood of Milwaukee. With the venue’s exposed Cream City brick and industrial beams, The Seeboth’s unique, urban vibe provided the perfect place for the gorgeous bride.
Brittni looked absolutely breathtaking in her wedding gown, which had intricate beading and a feminine flare. Her bridesmaids wore different hues of blue which coordinated perfectly with their pink, orange, and maroon bouquets.
James, happens to be my best friend’s brother, which made this event that much more special to photograph. In fact, I absolutely love capturing weddings of people I know because that connection makes the entire experience more emotional for me, which joyfully shines in each picture. I find great joy in capturing such a monumental day for two people I know and care deeply about.
On Brittni and James’ day, the sky was filled with rain clouds, but as soon as the ceremony ended, the rain clouds parted ways and the most beautiful sun shined for their family and bridal party portraits, which was such a profound, touching sign that James’ father was present in his own special way. James’ father, a man whom everyone has such fond memories of, unexpectedly received his angel wings a few months back. Understandably, this day was filled with emotional speeches and sweet mementos, including James wearing his father’s wedding ring.
I photographed some of the couple’s portraits at Lakeshore State Park, and per the bride’s request, she wanted some amazing photos under the storm clouds. Shockingly, and to our pleasant surprise, the weather that day provided her with both an amazing sunset and dramatic clouds over Lake Michigan. Such a well-deserved treat for the blushing bride!
Brittni and James, I can’t thank you enough for the opportunity to capture your beautiful celebration! Cheers to a lifetime of health, love, and happiness together.
Isabelle // 12 Days New Mequon Lifestyle Newborn Session // Mequon, Wisconsin
Little Isabelle was adorable during her Mequon at-home newborn session. She slept and received lots of hugs and kisses from big sister, Charlotte. Thank you to the T. Family for an amazing sessions and a huge congratulations on the addition of your newest little family member!
Jennifer + Dario Aqua Azul Wedding // New York, New York
I joyfully captured the lovely nuptials of Jennifer and Dario. In a truly heartfelt ceremony overlooking the Hudson River, Jen and Dario tied the knot in what was a day full of laughter, happy tears, and lots of sports anecdotes, as one would expect when two sports anchors say “I do.”
Jen and Dario got ready at the trendy boutique hotel, Dream Hotel, in downtown New York in the Chelsea Market area. This modern hotel provided a stunning backdrop to their elegant style. And speaking of elegant style, Jen’s dress and shoes were to die for – one of my absolute favorites from this wedding season!
I photographed their first look on the rooftop of the Dream Hotel, and then captured some bridal portraits on the High Line, a popular, elevated linear park and greenway on the west side of Manhattan, about 30 feet above street level on an old rail line, with provided fantastic city and river views.
Jen and Dario’s wedding ceremony and reception took place on a spectacular yacht which sailed around Manhattan. The views were striking! As Jen walked down the aisle, she became overwhelmed with emotion, and I found myself crying tears of joy along with her family and friends. When Chase, her son, gave a reading during the ceremony, I quickly realized that moment would be engrained in the couple’s hearts forever. Jen and Dario’s special day was so heartfelt and emotional!
As the Aqua Azul Yacht sailed around the Manhattan Island, I was able to capture the most incredible moments – laughter and tears from guests, sweet looks exchanged between Jen and Dario, and an extra cute moment when Jen brought Chase to the dance floor… but he quickly ditched his mom to dance with the flower girl. Such a sweet, hilarious moment.
Jen and Dario, I feel so honored and incredibly grateful to have captured your New York wedding! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness as husband and wife.
L. Family Milwaukee Family Session // Cathedral Square // Milwaukee, Wisconsin
One of the things that I love about Milwaukee is that it offers so much diversity in terms of photography locations. We have a beautiful lake, an urban environment and so many picturesque parks and forests. So I was naturally thrilled when the L. Family suggested that they wanted to do their session at Cathedral Square by the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. A beautiful urban environment with cream city tones and greenery! Their session was fun, light and bright! Thank you to the L. Family for a wonderful fall session!
G. Family Milwaukee Maternity Session // Big Bay Park // Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin
Oh, this little family! I adore them so much! It seems as thought it was only yesterday that I was photographing Elodie as a newborn and now this spunky, almost three year old girl, is about to be a big sister. I am so thankful for the G. Family and their continued friendship and support! Love you guys!
