There were a lot of mascots that greeted us at the door.
The mascot on the left is the Kawagoe City character, a city near Saitama that we went to visit the following day!
The arena inside, it was set up to fit 14,000 but it can hold 37,000. I was told the roof and one of the sides open up to reach its maximum capacity.
There were a lot of performances, this one was a marching band (obviously!) but they had a hip hop group, two live performances, and of course cheerleaders!

One of Dan's teammates, Tachi, was in the dunk contest. His family made fans to cheer him on.
Three point contest! I was sitting on the other side of the basket...grrr! I figured at that particular moment it was more important to be a wife than a crazy photographer and rush to the other side. Plus I was too nervous and wanted to see Dan compete!
