After the team won their second game against Fukuoka Rising, a booster invited us out to dinner.
So nice of them! Everyone here is so nice and welcoming!
They took us to a Korean BBQ in Sendai.
Traditional seating - you took your shoes off before you entered this private dinning room.
Slippers were provided if you had to go use the bathroom or wanted to walk around.
Dan's slippers totally fit! That has been the recurring theme in Japan, maybe we should have brought our own :)
First course, crab and vegetables in gelatin.
Reminded me of a lot of Polish course, especially those traditionally served during Christmas time.
Beef, beef and more beef! Yum!
They were starring at us :)
This time around we tried, beef heart and tongue.
Both very good actually! So much for trying to become a vegetarian.
Beef tongue is a speciality of Sendai - it was tender and juicy!
Thank you very much for a wonderful night!
