I joined a sports club!
Thank you so much for all the help with Japanese paperwork, we would have never figured it out on our own.
I am starting to realize the Japanese love their rules, more than the Germans, and everyone follows them to a tee.
While filling out the paperwork I noticed a few interesting rules that caught my eye,
for example pregnant women can not workout in Japan.
You can not use the sports club if you have any kind of tattoos.
(Tattoos are not illegal but are looked down upon because some link them to a criminal organization called Yakuza.)
When entering the locker room, you have to take your shoes off.
You can not workout at the gym with the shoes that you wore on the street.
I have to say, I have never felt so welcome at a sports club though!
The Japanese trainers are very nice and have been so helpful.
Otherwise I would probably feel like Bill Murray in Lost in Translation.
Can you figure this out?!
Which one is the "quick start" button? haha
