Aoba Castle
Sendai, Japan.
Picture
This two-story building called the Waki-yagura, is located below the castle wall.
The original building burned down during the 1945 Sendai Air Raid. The current building was reconstructed in 1965.

As you can see the back of the building was damaged in the March 11, 2011 earthquake.

Winding road leading up to the castle wall.
There isn't much left of the actual castle, its mostly ruins but the view of Sendai is stunning!
