Kathleen and Joe were married at Old Saint Mary's Church, the oldest church still standing in the city, located in the heart of Milwaukee. The service was conducted by Joe's uncle, which made the entire ceremony that much more special and memorable. The Catholic mass portion of this lovely couple’s wedding was extremely important to them, and they were very much looking forward to the traditions associated with the sacrament, the lovely music selection, and their personalized petitions and vows.

Following the ceremony, we took photos at Marquette University's campus by the beautiful Joan of Arc Chapel. The Joan of Arc Chapel dates to the early 15th century, and Kathleen and Joe’s photos around this beautiful, Gothic-style structure, were absolutely gorgeous. Fun fact: Marquette is where Kathleen and I met at each other! I love photographing my fellow Marquette couples.

Their reception was held at Good City Brewery/Commons, a brand-new Milwaukee venue. In fact, Kathleen and Joe were their second wedding! Good City is located next to the new Milwaukee Buck's arena in Milwaukee's new entertainment district. The stunning glass and steel structure fit their North Woods theme perfectly. The couple’s visions of rustic vibes, lush greenery, and nature-like personalized touches melded perfectly with this venue. Kathleen and Joe’s guests certainly felt the couple’s joy and excitement throughout the evening, and it was clear to tell that they had a blast while surrounded by their family and friends.

Kathleen and Joe, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I always feel so lucky when I can call my couples, my friends. Your wedding and celebration radiated love, happiness, and family. It was the perfect fun family atmosphere. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and having me capture the most important day of your lives. I hope your honeymoon in Hawaii is nothing short of perfect!
