They met at a house party at Marquette University their sophomore year. Matt decided to be the funny guy and wear a full suit to a college house party to keep it "classy". Emily and her friends entered later, and Matt's attire caught her attention. As she walked past, she boldly said to him "You look nice!". This was out of the ordinary for Emily, and it caught Matt's attention. They talked, danced, and rapped Lil Wayne the whole night. The rest is ancient history.

Emily and Matt tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at one of Milwaukee's newest venues, the industrial South Second in the Walker's Point neighborhood. The main theme of their wedding was based around their shared love for the city of Milwaukee. They wanted their friends and family to experience some of their favorite things about the city, including Saz's amazing food, local craft beers, and Holey Moley donuts to name a few. They day was filled with so much love, laughter and some ahh-mazing moves on the dance floor!

During their ceremony they had a unique beer unity ritual. They both chose their favorite local beers, which they poured and combine in one glass, and shared together.

Forever walking with my couples into the sunset. Ahhh! This wedding was SO MUCH fun!

Emily and Matt, you two are some of the most fun and caring people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Not only was your wedding fun and laid back but you guys know how to throw a serious party! Thank you for having me capture your Milwaukee wedding. You guys were wonderful to work with and made the day delightful. I hope you are enjoying each moment as husband and wife.

This grandmother is 80 yrs old and has attended too many weddings to count. Your picture/photographer story is the grandest, most beautiful, contemplative, and outstanding I've ever seen. I was anxious to see your photos because everywhere I looked that day, there you were. I knew there'd be gorgeous photos and hoped I could see Matt and Emily's album once it was complete. Thank you so much for posting these which I will save and print if I can. (Are they copyrighted?)

Thank you so much for your kind words Carole! It was such a beautiful celebration and the atmosphere was lovely.

I messaged Matt and Emily today, so they will share wedding images with you as soon as the gallery is all completed. You are more than welcome to save them from the blog, however they are small resolution, so you won't be able to print them properly.
