Ewelina // CHICAGOAs a photographer, it's often difficult to revisit some of our older images. We all start somewhere and with each shoot we grow, learn and continue to evolve in our profession. Hence those early images can sometimes be outright scary to look at. And trust me, that little voice inside our heads overanalyzes every choice we made. "I thought what looked good?!" "Why did I pose her like that?" "What happened to his arm?" And on and on it goes. With that said, I have been procrastinating to post these images of a styled shoot I did back in 2013. Yup, that was two years ago! I waited two whole years to write about this, to really work on the images and to finally tell that little voice inside my head to shush. I have to admit, it was my first time collaborating with a model and a makeup artist and trying to create a look for each of our portfolios. To say that I was nervous and overwhelmed would be a bit of an understatement. Thankfully the shoot went really well! Our model, Ewelina was absolutely amazing to work with and Kasha Rodig from KASHA MUA did a spectacular job bringing Ewelina's whole look together. So, drum roll please.... ba - dumb -dumb! Here are the long awaited images from our shoot along with some behind the scenes photos. Enjoy! And if you are a photographer don't be afraid to take a look at some of your old work, sometimes you might be pleasantly surprised. Model: Ewelina P-ska
