Another weekend in Buenos Aires is here and it looks like it's going to be a wet one!
The weather forecast predicts rain for today and tomorrow (bummer!) I can't complain because this last week has been very sunny. It's still early spring so the weather does drop at night and even in the sun it only gets into the 50s/60s. Despite some chilly weather I still managed to go on a few runs and discovered some neat running paths and parks!
Lago de Regatas and the surrounding parks are by far my favorite place to go running.
Gatorade also has sponsored certain parts of the park so if one pleases they can do pull ups, abs and a variety of different exercises on outdoor fitness equipment. Very cool!
Every wonder how I spend my days abroad?!
Here is my latest morning ritual, grab a newspaper and translate a few articles to brush up on my Spanish.
I am hoping I will be able to understand more and more with each day.
Argentina is known for their wine so I am on a mission to try lots of delicious wines from the Mendoza region.
One of my goals is to learn more about the different types of wines and truly differentiate the unique flavors and what better place to do it in than in a country where wine is plentiful and very inexpensive!
I really enjoy cooking! I was thrilled when we finally got all of our kitchen utensils so I could experiment in the kitchen.
I am sure there will be plenty of blog entires just about food and my quest to try out as many different recipes as possible ;) Perhaps even baking might be on my list...
Ahh, a dog's life!
There are so many dogs in Buenos Aires and I have to admit it's making me want to get a puppy.
For now I will enjoy looking at all the cuties and avoiding all the dog poop on the streets.
One of the great things about Buenos Aires is that there is a lot of very impressive street art!
I've been discovering more and more of it and soon will have a post with all my street art photography.
Have a wonderful weekend!
